The qualifiers are open to all Male players as the qualifiers are to select the Men’s team to represent Western Australia in the $60,000 Harrows ALH State Championships 2017.

The event is being held in Dubbo in NSW from 28th October 2017 – 04th November 2017 and any player wishing to take part in the qualifiers need to be available for these dates.

The WA Team will fly out on the 27th October 2017 and return on November 5th 2017 anyone who wins selection will need to be available for these dates. Please don’t trial out if you cannot make yourself available for the dates.

The Qualifiers will be held at the Osborne Park Bowling Club, 31 Park Street, Tuart Hill, 6060, WA.

Over the four weekends of play, there will be an Order of Merit ranking point system to determine the team that will represent Western Australia in the Championships.

The top six in the order of merit will automatically be selected, there will be a Captain’s choice selection and also a wildcard selection which will make up the final eighth place.

The entry fee into the qualifiers will be $25.00 per person per day. A player must make at least six out of the eight days play to be eligible for selection.

Registration closes 9.30am on the morning of the event with play to start at 10am sharp.

To start with, Round Robin groups, consisting of 501 best of 5 legs per match will be played.

The top 2 or 4 off the sheets (depending on entries) will go into the knockout stages where play will continue as 501 best of 9 legs until a winner is determined.

All names will go into the hat and be randomly drawn out after each round in the knockout stages.

A point System will be awarded as follows:-

Winner = 20 points plus $125.00

Runner up = 15 points plus $60.00

Semi Finalists = 10 points plus $40.00 each

Quarter finalists = 5 points plus $20.00 each

Last 16 = 2 points only
